appeared in over 80 professional stage productions and in all 48 of the contiguous United States. Stage appearances in Southern California include the Bearded Lady in the Los Angeles premiere of Side Show (Ovation/Garland awards; his one-man “stand-up” musical comedy I’m $elling Out! at the Hudson Theater in L.A. and recent appearances at the Camino Real Playhouse in Grease (Teen Angel), Greater Tuna (Thurston), The Rocky Horror Show LIVE! (Frank-n-Furter) and Cogsworth in Beauty and the Beast at The Star Theatre.

As a nightclub performer in New York, Michael has appeared at major venues including Town Hall, The Ballroom, Don’t Tell Mama, The Triad, Eight-Eights, Rose’s Turn and The Duplex. He has shared the stage with luminaries such as Liza Minnelli, Ann Hampton Callaway, Bea Arthur, Chita Rivera, Idina Menzel, Kelli O’Hara, Billy Stritch, Michael Feinstein and numerous others. His solo shows A World of my Own, Showbiz is my Life, Aspects of Lloyd Webber, and In Your Dreams played sold out runs in NYC. His most recent show I’m $elling Out! played off-Broadway for 6 months before going on tour to Chicago, The Pocono resorts, and ending up in Los Angeles with a run at the Hudson Theater in Hollywood. As a stage director, Michael recently directed Beauty and the Beast, Hello Dolly, Pirates of Penzance and Guys and Dolls for the Star Theatre for the Performing Arts where he served as Artistic Director. After a 15-year career on and off the stage in New York City, Michael relocated to Southern California in 2000. As an actor Michael has appeared in 7 Broadway and National Touring shows including 2 productions of The Phantom of the Opera (Piangi/Phantom u/s), Joseph and the Amzing Technicolor Dreamcoat (Baker), The 50th Anniversary production of The Wizard of Oz (Cowardly Lion) and the 25 Anniversary tour of Evita.  He has

In 2008 Mr. Wallot opened his own full-time performing arts studio in Orange County - The Center Stage San Clemente. Michael believes that teaching his student’s focus, responsibility, and hard work which are paramount to their success onstage and in their own life. He also believes in having a lot of FUN while doing it! Michael is continually developing his BROADWAY BOUND program for adults as well as children. In 2008 he welcomed Broadway star Tony Award nominee Laura Bell Bundy (star of Legally Blonde) to his studio for a 2 day workshop. His regular classes include Musical Theater, Acting/Improv, Voice Lessons, Audition workshops, Private Coaching and Full Productions and Showcases for children ages 5 to 16, Teens, College students and Adults.

Bed, Grease, You’re a Good Man, Charlie Brown, Vanities, and Little Shop of Horrors for the Camino Real Playhouse in San Juan Capistrano. He was their resident Artistic Director for 2 years and also produced an annual fundraiser Broadway Under the Stars, which starred performers direct from Broadway including Tony nominee's Daphne Rubin-Vega (Rent) and Liz Callaway (Miss Saigon/Baby/Cats) and former Miss America Kate Shindle (Legally Blonde). Other directing credits include the Broadway All-Star Benefit for the Red Cross in New York City starring Mickey Dolenz (the Monkees), Christopher Sieber (Shrek) and original Annie - Andrea McArdle; and The Miss Los Angeles/America Pageant. Michael has directed over 40 productions and has received multiple awards for his work including numerous OC Weekly Award nominations. He is a member of the Lincoln Center Directors Lab West and is currently developing the Broadway bound musical ELIOT.
